My carer is very competent, uses her initiative, intelligence, doesn't waste time, gets on with things, has awareness of individuals needs.

Home Care Services
Sophisticare take great pleasure in caring for our customers wherever they live, whether they may be adults, the elderly, people with disabilities or illness or simply frail.
A visit from a professionally trained, experienced carer can be as short as 15 minutes or as long as a day. Our only aim is to care for our customers.
We work hard to be invaluable. We know how important independence and quality of life is and we champion our customers' rights to choice, privacy and dignity.
Our customers can rely on the home carers being in the right place at the right time. So our team of co-ordinators are always busy liaising between everyone involved. Working hard to ensure that nothing is overlooked. Keeping our customers happy in their own homes - for longer.
Since my mother has had a regular carer I have seen a difference in her appearance.
Sophisticare provide a full range of services and are happy to tailor a home care package to customers' individual needs:
- Personal care - tasks associated with the person including dressing, washing, shaving, continence care, medication, hair and dental care
- Nutrition support - assistance with food choices, shopping lists, meal preparation and help with eating
- Relief and respite care - for example, holiday cover
- Complex care - for individuals who need the full range of home care assistance including manual handling or palliative care
- Companionship - for people who would like the company of a friend
- Drop in calls - where full assistance is not necessary but peace of mind can be found from someone popping in to check on a customer
- Supported living - where an individual is able to undertake their own personal care, but may need support with another aspect of living alone
- Financial assistance - paying bills, pension collection, bank visits, advice on benefit payments and support when making large purchases
- Transport - to get the best out of community and hospital transport services, as well as accompanied visits to hospital, shopping or social activities
- Domestic support - tasks associated with the home including housework and laundry
